Editorial Policy

Overview

TradingNews24 combines automated data pipelines with human editorial oversight to deliver market intelligence. This policy explains how content is produced, how we attribute sources, how corrections are handled, and where the boundaries of our automation lie.

We are committed to transparency: if something is AI-generated, we say so. If something is a summary rather than original reporting, we say so. If we make a mistake, we correct it.

AI-Assisted Summaries and Analysis

A significant portion of content on TradingNews24 is generated or assisted by large language models (LLMs). This includes:

• Sentiment scores assigned to financial news headlines and summaries
• AI-generated context paragraphs accompanying news items
• Signal idea narratives generated from structured data
• Newsletter digest copy where noted

AI-generated content is used to scale coverage of fast-moving financial markets. It does not replace journalistic reporting — TradingNews24 does not conduct original investigative journalism. We process, summarise, and contextualise publicly available financial information.

Where content is substantially AI-generated, we aim to label it accordingly. Where human editors have reviewed or modified AI output, the result reflects both. We do not represent AI output as human-authored original content.

Source Attribution

Every news item processed by TradingNews24 is attributed to its original source. Source labels are displayed alongside each item wherever possible. We link to original articles where we have permission to do so.

We do not reproduce full articles. We process headlines and summary excerpts, apply AI analysis, and display our outputs alongside a reference to the source. Full article access remains with the original publisher.

News Selection and Symbol Mapping

News items are selected from licensed financial data feeds based on relevance to the asset classes we cover: forex, cryptocurrencies, equities, commodities, and major indices. Selection is primarily automated using keyword and entity detection rules.

Symbols are mapped to news items using a combination of direct mention detection and AI-assisted entity extraction. Mapping is imperfect: some items may be linked to irrelevant symbols, or may miss affected symbols not explicitly named in the source text.

We do not deliberately exclude or promote specific asset classes, trading instruments, or market directions for commercial reasons. News selection is driven by data availability and coverage scope.

No Full Article Reproduction

TradingNews24 does not copy or republish full articles from external publishers. We display headlines, brief summaries derived from licensed feeds, and AI-generated analysis. Any extended quote from an external article is used under fair dealing principles for commentary and analysis purposes only, and is attributed clearly. Original source links are provided where available.

Corrections Policy

We aim to correct factual errors promptly when they are brought to our attention or identified through internal review. This applies to:

• Incorrect symbol mappings (a news item linked to the wrong market)
• Factual errors in AI-generated summaries or context
• Incorrect event data imported from calendar feeds
• Errors in blog articles or editorial content

To report a factual error, please use our Contact page and describe the error clearly. We do not retroactively alter the record of AI-generated sentiment scores once published, but we can remove or flag incorrect items where appropriate.

Corrections to blog articles are noted at the end of the updated article where the change is material. Minor grammatical or formatting corrections are made without a correction note.

Conflicts of Interest and Advertising

TradingNews24 may use advertising or commercial partnerships to fund the platform. Where advertising is displayed, it is clearly distinguishable from editorial content. Advertisers have no influence over the sentiment scores, signal ideas, news selection, or any analytical output produced by TradingNews24.

TradingNews24 does not receive payment to publish or suppress specific news items, to adjust sentiment scores, or to promote particular trading instruments. Editorial outputs are generated by automated systems designed to be neutral with respect to commercial interests.

If we publish affiliate links — for example, to brokers or data providers — we will disclose this clearly in the relevant content.

Timestamps and Update Policy

Every news item on TradingNews24 carries a timestamp reflecting when we ingested and processed it. This may differ from the original publication timestamp at the source publisher.

Signal ideas and screener results are generated at a specific point in time. Market conditions can change between generation and the moment a user views the output. We recommend checking the timestamp before acting on any time-sensitive output.

Blog articles carry a published date and, where applicable, a last-updated date. We periodically review older content for accuracy but cannot guarantee all historical articles remain fully current.

Limitations of Automated Analysis

Automated systems produce content at scale but with inherent limitations that human editorial judgement can partially but not fully compensate for:

• LLMs can misinterpret sarcasm, irony, or domain-specific financial jargon
• Automated symbol detection may produce false positives or miss unlisted instruments
• AI summaries may overstate certainty or miss nuance present in the source text
• Processing pipelines can experience delays, duplication, or data gaps
• No automated system can be expected to achieve perfect accuracy at the throughput required for real-time market coverage

We do not represent automated outputs as equivalent to human expert analysis. They are a structured research starting point, not a definitive view.
